Who are you? / நீ யார்
For you are a holy people to the LORD your God; The Lord your God has chosen you to be a people for Himself, a special treasure above all the peoples on the face of the earth.
Deuteronomy 7:6
Who are you first and foremost? The answer to this question is most important. Realizing who are you first makes you live your life blessed all the time.
Bible says (not what world says) you are a holy people chosen by God, a special treasure, Chosen for God among all other people.
God has cherry picked you among millions of others why?
verse 8 says because God loves you and wants to keep the oath He swore to Abraham.
In Gen 22:18 God said to Abraham, "in your seed all the nations of the earth shall be blessed".
You are the seed of Abraham through Christ.
Hence you are chosen, cherry picked not just for any reason, cherry picked for God Himself, to serve Him to fulfill His plans and purpose.
Realize this truth and walk as God's chosen not compromising with the world and being like the world, but rather showing God's love to others, doing good always, being gentle and kind, and living a holy life. For this is the will of God.
When you realize this and live as God's chosen, your life will be blessed.
நீ உன் தேவனாகிய கர்த்தருக்குப் பரிசுத்த ஜனம், பூச்சக்கரத்திலுள்ள எல்லா ஜனங்களிலும் உன் தேவனாகிய கர்த்தர் உன்னைத் தமக்குச் சொந்தமாயிருக்கும்படி தெரிந்துகொண்டார்.
உபாகமம் 7:6
நீ யார்? இந்த கேள்விக்கான பதில் மிக முக்கியமானது. நீங்கள் முதலில் யார் என்பதை உணர்ந்துகொள்வது உங்கள் வாழ்க்கையை எல்லா நேரத்திலும் ஆசீர்வதிக்க வைக்கிறது.
நீங்கள் கர்த்தரால் தேர்ந்தெடுக்கப்பட்ட ஒரு பரிசுத்த ஜனம், ஒரு சிறப்பு புதையல், பல ஜனங்களின் மத்தியில் தேர்ந்தெடுக்கப்பட்டவர்கள், கர்த்தருக்காக சேவை செய்ய தெரிந்து கொள்ளப்பட்டவர்கள் என்று இன்றைய வசனத்தின் மூலமாய் பார்க்கிறோம்.
கர்த்தர் உங்களை பல்லாயிரக்கணக்கான மக்களிடையே இருந்து தேர்ந்தெடுத்தார், எதற்காக?
கர்த்தர் உங்களை நேசிப்பதினால், ஆபிரகாமுக்கு வாக்கு பண்ணின வாக்குறுதியை கடைப்பிடிப்பதற்காக, உங்களை தன் ஜனங்களாக தெரிந்து கொண்டார்.
இதைத்தான் எட்டாம் வசனம் கூறுகிறது.
ஆதியாகமம்22: 18 ல் கர்த்தர் ஆபிரகாமிடம் வாக்களித்தது என்னவென்றால் "நீ என் சொல்லுக்குக் கீழ்ப்படிந்தபடியினால், உன் சந்ததிக்குள் பூமியிலுள்ள சகல ஜாதிகளும் ஆசீர்வதிக்கப்படும்" என்பதே.
நீங்கள் கிறிஸ்துவின் மூலம் ஆபிரகாமின் சந்ததி.
ஆகவே கர்த்தருக்காக சேவை செய்வதற்காகவும் அவருடைய சித்தத்தை செய்வதற்காகவும் தேர்ந்தெடுக்கப்பட்டிருக்கிறீர்கள். நீங்கள் உலகத்திற்கென்று உலகத்தாராய் வாழாமல், பிறரை நேசித்து நல்லதை செய்து கர்த்தருடைய அன்பை வெளிப்படுத்தி கர்த்தரை குறித்து சொல்லி பரிசுத்தமாய் வாழ்ந்திருப்பதற்காகவே கர்த்தர் உங்களை தெரிந்து கொண்டார். நீங்கள் கர்த்தருடைய ஜனம் இதை எப்பொழுதும் நினைவில் வைத்து வாழுங்கள் அப்பொழுது உங்கள் வாழ்க்கை செழிப்பாய் இருக்கும்
