Hear in your heart / இருதயத்தில் கேளுங்கள்
Then Mary said, “Behold the maidservant of the Lord! Let it be to me according to your word.” And the angel departed from her.

A parent tells a teenager to be home by 10:30 at night, but the teen comes home at 11:30. The teen heard the instructions audibly, but he didn’t hear them in a way that affected his behavior. His ears received the instructions, but his heart didn’t.
The same disconnect can occur when we read God’s Word.
It’s one thing to read God’s words in the Bible, but it’s another thing to obey them.
James 1:22 says be doers of the word and not hearers only.
God's instructions in the bible are for our own good and blessing. Just like the parents instructions for the teenager is for his or her own good.
When we follow God's instructions we would get good and blessed results, we would walk in peace and have joy in our heart.
Like Mary let us accept God's Word as it is and not doubt or look for logic in it.

யாக்கோபு 1:22 கூறுகிறது "திருவசனத்தைக் கேட்கிறவர்களாய் மாத்திரமல்ல, அதின்படி செய்கிறவர்களாயும் இருங்கள்"
தேவனின் வார்த்தைகளும் அறிவுறுத்தல்களும் நம் நன்மைக்காகவே, அது நம்மை நல்வழியில் நடத்தும், ஆசீர்வாதமாய் வைக்கும், சமாதானத்தை தரும் சந்தோஷமாய் இருக்க வைக்கும்.
ஆதலால் மரியாலை போல வேத வசனத்தை உள்ளதை உள்ளவாறு விசுவாசித்து சந்தேகப்படாமல் தர்க்கத்தை தேடாமல் இருதயத்தில் கேட்டு அதன்படி நடப்போம்.
காதுகளில் மாத்திரம் கர்த்தருடைய வார்த்தையை கேளாமல் இருதயத்தில் கேட்டு அதன்படி நடக்கிறவர்களாய் காணப்படுவோம் சாட்சியாய் வாழ்வோம்.
கர்த்தரின் வார்த்தையை நாம் படிக்கும் பொழுது இதே மாதிரியான அனுபவம் நமக்கு இருக்கக்கூடும். கர்த்தரின் வார்த்தையை காதுகளில் மாத்திரம் கேட்டு இருதயத்தில் கேட்காமல் இருக்கும் பொழுது அதை நாம் முழுமனதாய் பின்பற்றுவது இல்லை.
