Do not forgot / மறக்காதே
Be careful not to forget the LORD, who rescued you from slavery in the land of Egypt.
Deuteronomy 6:12
A famous philosopher once said, "Those who cannot remember the past are very likely to repeat it. He was referring to the mistakes of the past, and that if we forgot we are very likely to repeat them again.
The same could be said about blessings. If we fail to remember God's blessings of the past, we are more likely to fear the future and lack faith and hence face defeat and misery.
When Joshua led the Israelite's into the Promised Land, he had a stone memorial built after they crossed the Jordan River. It was to remind future generations that God not only dried up the Jordan so they could cross, but He also parted the Red Sea so they could escape the Egyptian army.
This memorial stone reminded Israelite's the miracle God performed for Him and they were able to fight many battles knowing God is on their side.
Remembering God's blessings of the past is a powerful tool which activates our faith to see more miracles in future.
Do not forgot God's past blessings. May it be in your mind always. May it be the key for future blessings.

பிரபல தத்துவஞானி ஒருமுறை கூறினார், "கடந்த காலத்தை நினைவில் கொள்ள முடியாதவர்கள் அதை மீண்டும் செய்ய வாய்ப்புள்ளது. அவர் கடந்த கால தவறுகளை குறிப்பிடுகிறார், மேலும் நாம் மறந்துவிட்டால் அவற்றை மீண்டும் மீண்டும் செய்ய வாய்ப்பு உள்ளது.
ஆசீர்வாதங்களைப் பற்றியும் இதைச் சொல்லலாம். கர்த்தர் கொடுத்த ஆசீர்வாதங்களை நாம் நினைவுகூரத் தவறினால், நாம் எதிர்காலத்தைப் பற்றி பயப்பட கூடும், கர்த்தர் மேல் நம்பிக்கையை இழக்கக்கூடும், அதனால் தோல்வியையும் துன்பத்தையும் சந்திக்க நேரிடும்.
யோசுவா இஸ்ரவேல் ஜனங்களை நடத்தி செல்லும் பொழுது, கர்த்தர் யோர்தான் நதியை பிளந்தார். இதற்கு நினைவுச்சின்னமாக ஒரு தூணை எழுப்பினார்கள். இந்த நினைவுச் சின்னம் பின் வந்த சந்ததியரை கர்த்தர் மேல் விசுவாசம் வைக்க உற்சாகப்படுத்தியது. அதனால் பல வெற்றிகளையும் அடைந்தனர்.
கர்த்தரின் கடந்த கால ஆசீர்வாதங்களை நினைவில் கொள்வது, எதிர்காலத்தில் இன்னும் பல அற்புதங்களைக் காண நமது நம்பிக்கையை செயல்படுத்தும் ஒரு சக்திவாய்ந்த கருவியாகும்.
கர்த்தரின் கடவுளின் கடந்த கால ஆசீர்வாதங்களை மறந்துவிடாதீர்கள். அது எப்போதும் உங்கள் மனதில் இருக்கட்டும். எதிர்கால ஆசீர்வாதங்களுக்கு அது திறவுகோலாக இருக்கட்டும்.
ஆசீர்வாதங்களைப் பற்றியும் இதைச் சொல்லலாம். கர்த்தர் கொடுத்த ஆசீர்வாதங்களை நாம் நினைவுகூரத் தவறினால், நாம் எதிர்காலத்தைப் பற்றி பயப்பட கூடும், கர்த்தர் மேல் நம்பிக்கையை இழக்கக்கூடும், அதனால் தோல்வியையும் துன்பத்தையும் சந்திக்க நேரிடும்.
