Strong Tower / பலமான கோபுரம்

In ancient walled cities a tower was often erected at a corner of the walls or over a city gate. It served as a refuge—a place from which to defend the city from attacks and to protect inhabitants.
A strong tower became a metaphor for God as a place of refuge and protection.
Today, our cities don’t have walls or towers.
Our enemies are not physical but spiritual.
So where do we run when we feel we are under attack or experiencing trouble? We do spiritually what people did physically in the Old Testament. We flee to our spiritual tower which is God Himself.
When we pray to Father in heaven daily and believe without doubt His Word, who is Lord Jesus Christ and take help from the Holy Spirit who lives in us, we would be able to take shelter in His strong tower.
So why wait run to the strong tower and take shelter before the enemy can get you.

பண்டைய கால நகரங்களில் ஒரு கோபுரம் பெரும்பாலும் சுவர்களின் ஒரு மூலையில் அல்லது ஒரு நகர வாயிலுக்கு மேல் அமைக்கப்பட்டது. இது ஒரு புகலிடமாகச் செயல்பட்டது. நகரத்தை தாக்குதல்களிலிருந்து பாதுகாக்கவும், குடிமக்களைப் பாதுகாக்கவும் ஒரு இடமாக இருந்தது.
இன்று, நமது நகரங்களில் சுவர்களோ கோபுரங்களோ இல்லை.
இன்றைய காலத்தில் நம்மளுடைய எதிரி சரீரமோ மாமிசமோ அல்ல ஆவியில் இருளின் அதிகாரமே நம் எதிரியாய் இருக்கின்றன.
ஆதலால் இப்படிப்பட்ட இருளின் அதிகாரங்கள் நம்மளை தாக்கும் பொழுது நாம் எங்கே ஓடி மறையக்கூடும்?
நம் ஆண்டவராகிய இயேசு கிறிஸ்துவே பலமான கோபுரமாய் இருக்கிறார்.
ஆதி காலத்தில் எதிரி தாக்கும் பொழுது இந்த பலமான கோபுரத்துக்கு சென்று தஞ்சம் கொண்டனர், அதேபோல் இன்று சத்ரு நம்மளை தாக்கும் பொழுது பலமான கோபுரமாகிய கர்த்தரிடத்தில் நாம் தஞ்சம் கொள்வோம்.
பிதாவாகிய தேவனிடத்தில் ஒவ்வொரு நாளும் ஜெபிக்கும் பொழுதும், அவருடைய வார்த்தையாகிய இயேசு கிறிஸ்துவின் மேல் விசுவாசம் வைக்கும் பொழுதும், ஆவியானவரோடு ஐக்கியம் கொள்ளும் பொழுதும், நாம் இந்த பலமான கோபுரத்தில் தஞ்சமடைகிறோம். அவ்வாறாக பலமான கோபுரத்தில் தஞ்சமடையும் பொழுது எதுவும் நம்மை தாக்குவது இல்லை.
எதற்காய் காத்திருக்கிறீர்கள், உடனடியாக கர்த்தரின் பலமான கோபுரத்தை நோக்கி ஓடி அடைக்கலம் பெறுங்கள்.
