Take care of fig tree / அத்தி மரத்தை கவனித்துக் கொள்ளுங்கள்
Take care of a fig tree and you will have figs to eat. Servants who take care of their master will be honored.
Proverbs 27:18
Fig tree is one of the most commonly growing shrub in the land of Israel. In order for this tree to yields it's fruit, it needs to be taken care. Fig trees like to be in full sun with soil which allows water freely to its root and lot of space around it.
When these needs of the fig tree are well taken care, it yields much fruit for the gardener to enjoy.
Similarly servants or workers who take good care of the master and supply his or her needs will also be enjoying all the benefits from that master.
In Matthews gospel chapter 24 verses 45 to 47 our Lord compares our Father in heaven to a Master.
Hence when we do the will of our Father in heaven, we too will enjoy all the rewards from Him.
The will of the Father is for us to give good fruits for Him, that is to love others, forgive others, care of others and show Christ love and share the good news of salvation and above all love Him with all of our heart soul and mind.
Taking care of fig tree is doing the will of the Father in heaven.
So take care of the fig tree and reap the rewards.

அத்தி மரம் இஸ்ரேல் நாட்டில் பொதுவாக வளரும் புதர்களில் ஒன்றாகும். அத்திமரம் நன்றாக கனி கொடுக்க வேண்டுமென்றால் அதை நன்றாய் கவனிக்க வேண்டும். அதற்குத் தேவையான சூரிய வெளிச்சமும், வளர்வதற்கு நல்ல இடமும், நல்ல மண்ணும் அழிக்கும் பொழுது, அந்த அத்திமரம் நன்றாய் கனி கொடுக்கும்,
அதே போன்று ஒரு எஜமானின் தேவைகளை வேலைக்காரன் சந்திக்கும் பொழுது அவன் அந்த பலனை அடைகிறான்.
மத்தேயு எழுதின சுவிசேஷ புத்தகத்தில் 24வது அதிகாரத்தில் 45 லிருந்து 47 வது வசனத்தில் ஆண்டவராகிய இயேசு கிறிஸ்து பிதாவாகிய தேவன் நம் எஜமானாய் இருக்கிறார் என்று கூறியிருக்கிறார்.
பிதாவாகிய தேவனுடைய சித்தத்தை நாம் செய்யும் பொழுது அவரிடத்தில் இருந்து பலனை பெறுகிறோம். பிதாவின் சித்தம், நாம் பிறருக்கு அன்பு செலுத்துவதும் பிறரை மன்னிப்பதும், கிறிஸ்துவின் சுவிசேஷத்தை அறிவிப்பதும், கர்த்தரை முழுமனதாய் முழு இருதயத்தோடு நேசிப்பதுமே.
இதை நாம் செய்யும்பொழுது கர்த்தரின் ஆசீர்வாதங்களை பெறுகிறோம்.
அத்தி மரத்தை கவனிப்பது பிதாவின் சித்தத்தை செய்வதே.
ஆதலால் அத்தி மரத்தை நன்றாய் கவனித்துக் கொள்ளுங்கள் பலனை பெறுங்கள்.
அதே போன்று ஒரு எஜமானின் தேவைகளை வேலைக்காரன் சந்திக்கும் பொழுது அவன் அந்த பலனை அடைகிறான்.
