Some people and leaders in Corinth church judged apostle Paul based on his appearance and timid and weak speech. Since apostle Paul was not good looking, not well dressed, short, poor and not eloquent in speech, they questioned his authority as Apostleship and even doubted whether he is truly sent by God.
They came to this conclusion because there were other so called apostles who visited Corinth church presented themselves as rich, well dressed, good looking in appearance and were very good at speech and convincing people.
In order to address this, apostle Paul writes this letter (2 Corinthians) and tells them that his ministry and the gospel he presented was not based on his effort or human effort, it is based on the power of God. He tells Corinth church that they didn't accept Lord Jesus because of Paul's human effort or skill, it was purely God's power.
He goes on to say that it is no longer the flesh as it used to be before, it is no longer based on human effort and skill, even when it comes to please God.
It is now through faith and power of God. Old things of proving one self in the flesh is gone, now it is by power of God and through the Holy Spirit.
So today, you may be like Paul, timid, poor looking not good at speech or talent, it no longer matters, old things have passed, you are new creation and power of God, the Holy Spirit is in you who will make everything a success for you. You are a new creation and hence leave it to Holy Spirit and don't try to prove yourself worthy to the world.

கொரிந்து தேவாலயத்தில் சில மக்களும் தலைவர்களும் அப்போஸ்தலனாகிய பவுலின் ஏழ்மையான
தோற்றம் மற்றும் பலவீனமான பேச்சு ஆகியவற்றின் அடிப்படையில் அவரை இழிவாக எண்ணினர். அப்போஸ்தலனாகிய பவுல் தோற்றமில்லாதவராகவும், நன்றாக உடை அணியாதவராகவும், குட்டையாகவும், ஏழையாகவும், பேச்சில் திறமை இல்லாதவராகவும் இருந்ததால், அவர் அப்போஸ்தலன் என்ற அதிகாரத்தைக் கேள்விக்குள்ளாக்கினர், மேலும் அவர் உண்மையிலேயே கடவுளால் அனுப்பப்பட்டவரா என்று கூட சந்தேகப்பட்டார்கள்.
கொரிந்து தேவாலயத்திற்கு வருகை தந்த அப்போஸ்தலர்கள் என்று அழைக்கப்படுபவர்கள் தங்களை பணக்காரர்களாகவும், நன்கு உடையணிந்தவர்களாகவும், தோற்றத்தில் நல்லவர்களாகவும், பேச்சிலும் மக்களை நம்பவைப்பதிலும் மிகவும் திறமையானவர்களாக இருந்ததால் அவர்கள் இந்த முடிவுக்கு வந்தனர்.
இதை நிவர்த்தி செய்யும் பொருட்டு, அப்போஸ்தலன் பவுல் இந்தக் கடிதத்தை (2 கொரிந்தியர்) எழுதுகிறார், மேலும் அவருடைய ஊழியமும் அவர் வழங்கிய சுவிசேஷமும் அவருடைய முயற்சி அல்லது மனித முயற்சியின் அடிப்படையில் அமைந்தது அல்ல என்றும், அது கடவுளின் வல்லமையை அடிப்படையாகக் கொண்டது என்று அவர்களிடம் கூறுகிறார். பவுலின் மனித முயற்சி அல்லது திறமையால் அவர்கள் கர்த்தராகிய இயேசுவை ஏற்றுக்கொள்ளவில்லை, அது முற்றிலும் தேவனின் வல்லமை என்று அவர் கொரிந்து தேவாலயத்தில் கூறுகிறார்.
ஆதலால் பழையவகைகளைப் போல மாம்சத்தினால் திறமையினால் தேவனை பிரியப்படுத்துவதும் மற்றவர்களை பிரியப்படுத்துவதும் ஒளிந்தன என்றும் தேவனின் வல்லமையாலும் ஆவியானவருடைய கிரியையினாலும் மாத்திரமே நாம் மற்றவர்களை தேவனுக்கு வழிநடத்தக் கூடும் என்று இந்த வசனத்தின் மூலமாக சொல்லுகிறார்.
ஆதலால் பவுல அப்போஸ்தலர் போல நீங்களும் தோற்றத்தில் ஏழ்மையாகவும் பேச்சுத்திறமை இல்லாதவர்களாகவும் இருக்கக்கூடும், திடன் கொள்ளுங்கள் பழையவைகள் ஒழிந்தன, நீங்கள் புதிய சிருஷ்டி, ஆவியானவர் அவருடைய வல்லமை உங்களிடம் உண்டு. ஆவியானவருக்கு இடம் கொடுங்கள் அவரே உங்கள் காரியத்தை வாய்கை செய்வார்.
