Walk in the day / பகலில் நடக்கவும்

Our Lord Jesus tells us about an important truth about life. He shares this truth through a wonderful example which very simple to understand and also profound.
Anyone who walks in the day clearly does not stumble, because he knows what is before him, he knows where is path clearly, he does not fall into a pit or get lost,
but it is very obvious that if that same person walks in the dark or in the night, it is sure that he will stumble or fall and get lost, because he does not know the way before him.
This same applies for our life. In John 8:12 Jesus said "I am the light of the world. Whoever follows me will not walk in darkness, but will have the light of life"
When we follow Jesus, it is like walking in daylight. What does it mean to follow Jesus, it means to follow His teaching and His Words, follow and do what the word of God says.
This action, will make us not fall or stumble, or get lost in life. We know the coming danger, we know how to resist temptation, we know the path ahead clearly, we will do God's will and all that we do will prosper.
But when we don't follow Jesus and His words or pay attention to it, we are bound to get lost and fall and have a miserable life.
So walk in the day and not in the night and you will be truly blessed and be a blessing.

நம் ஆண்டவராகிய இயேசு கிறிஸ்து இந்த வசனத்தின் மூலமாக ஒரு முக்கியமான உண்மையை நம்மளுக்கு தருகிறார். இந்த உண்மையை ஒரு எளிமையான உதாரணத்தின் மூலமாக நமக்கு போதித்திருக்கிறார்.
ஒருவர் பகலில் நடக்கும் பொழுது தடுமாற்றம் ஆவதில்லை. அவர் நடக்கும் பாதை நன்றாக தெரியும், குழியில் விழாதபடி, வழி தவறி போகாதபடி, சரியான பாதையில் நடக்கக்கூடும்.
ஆனால் இரவு நேரத்தில் ஒருவர் நடக்கும் பொழுது, தடுமாற்றம் அடைவது இயல்பு. இரவில் நடக்கும் பொழுது தொலைந்து போவதற்கும், குழியில் விழுவதற்கும், சந்தர்ப்பம் அதிகம்.
நம்மளுடைய நடைமுறை வாழ்க்கையிலும் எப்படி நடக்கிறோம் என்பது முக்கியம்.
இயேசு கிறிஸ்துவை பின்பற்றும்பொழுது, அவருடைய வார்த்தையை படித்து அதன்படி நடக்கும்பொழுது, வெளிச்சத்தில் நடக்கிறவர்களாய் காணப்படுகிறோம். அப்பொழுது நமக்கு வாழ்க்கையில் ஒரு தெளிவு இருக்கும், ஆபத்திலிருந்து தப்பித்துக் கொள்ள வழி தெரியும், சமாதானத்துடன் இருக்கக்கூடும்.
ஆனால் இயேசுவை நாம் பின்பற்றாத பொழுது அவருடைய வார்த்தையை கைக்கு கொள்ளாமல் இருக்கும் பொழுது, அது இருளில் நடப்பதற்கு சமமாய் கருதப்படுகிறது.
ஆதலால் இயேசுவை பின்பற்றுங்கள், அவருடைய வார்த்தையை படித்து அதன்படி கீழ்படிந்து நடந்து கொள்ளுங்கள், அப்பொழுது வெளிச்சத்தில் நடப்பீர்கள், அவ்வாறாக நடக்கும் பொழுது உங்கள் வாழ்க்கை செழிப்பாக காணப்படும். யோவான் 8:12, இயேசு சொன்னார், நான் உலகத்திற்கு ஒளியாய் இருக்கிறேன் என்னை பின்பற்றுகிறவன் இருளிலே நடவாமல் ஜீவ ஒளியை அடைந்திருப்பான் என்றார்.
