Whoever confesses that Jesus is the Son of God, God abides in him, and he in God
1 John 4:15
Confession is very important, but what is confession mean here. It means to openly, publicly declaring something or public observing something.
Being a believer of Christ is not a secret event. It is not to be hidden. It is not to be kept in secret. It is not something to be ashamed off.
Confessing Jesus is the Son of God publicly shows our genuineness of our faith.
When we confess publicly that Jesus is Son of God, something great happens, God abides in us and we abide in God.
We become His temple and able to walk into His presence freely.
Not only that, as per John 15:7, whatever we ask it is done for us.
We find favor in the eyes of God. He anoints our head with oil and our cup runs over and surely God's goodness and mercy follows us wherever we go.
So why hide Christ, why hide salvation, why be ashamed of it before our colleagues in office, before our friends, before our neighbors, before our relatives, when there is so much of blessing in it.
So start confessing boldly that Jesus Christ is the Son of God, that God may abide in you and you in God.

இயேசுவானவர் தேவனுடைய குமாரனென்று அறிக்கைபண்ணுகிறவன் எவனோ அவனில் தேவன் நிலைத்திருக்கிறார், அவனும் தேவனில் நிலைத்திருக்கிறான்.

அறிக்கை செய்வது முக்கியமானதாய் கருதப்படுகிறது. ஆனால் அறிக்கை என்றால் என்ன. அறிக்கை என்றால் எல்லோருக்கும் தெரியப்படுத்துகிற ஒரு காரியம், எல்லோரும் கவனிக்கிற ஒரு காரியம்.
கர்த்தருடைய விசுவாசிகளாய் இருப்பது ஒரு மறைக்கப்படுகிற காரியம் அல்ல, அது வெட்கப்படுகிற காரியமும் அல்ல.
எல்லாரும் அறியும் படி இயேசு கிறிஸ்துவை தேவகுமாரன் என்று அறிக்கை செய்வதே மெய்யான விசுவாசம்.
நாம் எல்லோரும் அறியும்படி இவ்வாறாக அறிக்கை செய்யும் பொழுது மிகப்பெரிய காரியம் நடைபெறுகிறது. கர்த்தர் நமக்குள் வந்து ஜீவிக்கிறார் நாமும் அவருக்குள் ஜீவிக்கிறோம். இப்படியாக இருக்கும் பொழுது யோவான் 15:7 இல் கூறி இருக்கிற படி நாம் எதைக் கேட்டாலும் அதை தேவன் செய்கிறவராய் இருக்கிறார்.
தேவனுடைய கண்களில் நமக்கு தயவு கிடைக்கிறது. நம் தலையை எண்ணெயினால் அபிஷேகம் செய்கிறார். நம் பாத்திரம் நிரம்பி வழிகிறது. ஜீவனுள்ள நாள் எல்லாம் கர்த்தருடைய நன்மையும் கிருபையும் நம்மை பின் தொடர்கிறது.
ஆதலால் இப்படியான பெரிய நன்மைகள் இருக்கும் பொழுது ஏன் நாம் கிறிஸ்துவை ஒழித்து வைக்க வேண்டும், ஏன் நாம் கிறிஸ்துவை குறித்து பொதுவான இடங்களில் கூறுவதற்கு வெட்கப்பட வேண்டும்.
கிறிஸ்து இயேசுவை எல்லோருக்கும் முன்பாக அவரே தேவகுமாரன் என்று தைரியமாக அறிக்கை செய்வோம், கர்த்தரை நமக்குள் ஜீவிக்க செய்வோம் நாமும் கர்த்தருக்குள் நிலைத்திருப்போம் ஆமென்.
