How to reap harvest? /அறுவடை செய்வது எப்படி?
See how the farmer waits for the land to yield its valuable crop and how patient he is for the autumn and spring rains. You too, be patient and stand firm, because the Lord’s coming is near.
James 5:7-8
God has unimaginable great blessings in store for our lives. He wants to bless us with abundant life. That's why many times in the scriptures, Jesus instructed us to ask the Father in heaven boldly and diligently in His name.
But many times we ask and don't see the answer or blessings. In other words we don't see the harvest we expected.
James explains the reason for it by giving an example of farmer.
A Jewish farmer would plow and sow in the autumn months, The autumn rain would soften the soil. The spring rain would come in February or March and help to mature the harvest. The farmer had to wait many weeks for his seed to produce fruit.
We are called to be like the farmer, wait in faith till we see the harvest.
When we pray and ask the Father, we plow and sow seed on the ground. The hope we have on God is like the autumn rain which fertilizes the soil and our faith (which is confidence on the hope) brings spring rain and helps the seed to mature and enable us to see the harvest.
Most of the time we look for immediate results for our prayers and loose patience and move on and try to do things on our own and lose the harvest.
God is calling you and me to be like the farmers, and be patient in faith, knowing that the seed we sown through prayer is growing and at right time will produce the harvest.

இப்படியிருக்க, சகோதரரே, கர்த்தர் வருமளவும் நீடிய பொறுமையாயிருங்கள். இதோ, பயிரிடுகிறவன் பூமியின் நற்பலனை அடையவேண்டுமென்று, முன்மாரியும் பின்மாரியும் வருமளவும், நீடிய பொறுமையோடே காத்திருக்கிறான். நீங்களும் நீடிய பொறுமையோடிருந்து, உங்கள் இருதயங்களை ஸ்திரப்படுத்துங்கள்; கர்த்தரின் வருகை சமீபமாயிருக்கிறதே.

கர்த்தர் நமக்கென்று பெரிய ஆசீர்வாதங்களை வைத்திருக்கிறார். அவர் நமக்கு பரிபூரண ஜீவனை தர விரும்புகிறார்.
அதனால் தான் இயேசு கேளுங்கள் அப்போது கொடுக்கப்படும் என்று வேதத்தில் பல இடங்களில் சொல்லியிருக்கிறார்.
ஆனால் நாம் பல தடவை கேட்டும் பெற்றுக் கொள்ளாமல் இருந்திருக்கிறோம். அதற்குரிய காரணத்தை யாக்கோபு ஒரு விவசாயியின் உதாரணத்தின் மூலமாக விளக்குகிறார்.
ஒரு யூத விவசாயி இலையுதிர்ர காலத்தில் விதை விதைக்கிறார். அதற்கு பிற்பாடு மழை பெய்வதற்காக அவர் காத்திருக்கிறார். பின்பு பின் மாறி மலைக்காகவும் அவர் காத்திருக்கிறார்.
அதற்கு பிற்பாடு அந்த விதை விளைச்சலாய் மாறும் மட்டும் பொறுமையாய் இருந்து அறுவடை செய்கிறார்.
நாமும் இந்த விவசாயி போல பொறுமையுடன் விசுவாசத்தில் காத்திருக்கும் படி அழைக்கப்படுகிறோம். பலமுறை நாம் ஜெபித்த பிறகு உடனடியாக பதில் கிடைக்க வேண்டும் என்று சொல்லி இருப்பது உண்டு.
அப்படியாக பதில் கிடைக்காத பொழுது நாம் சோர்ந்து போய் வேற காரியங்களை செய்ய துவங்குகிறோம்.
அதனால் பெற வேண்டிய ஆசீர்வாதத்தை இழந்து விடுகிறோம். கர்த்தர் நம்மை விவசாயியைப் போல விசுவாசத்தில் பொறுமையாய் இருக்கும்படியாய் அழைக்கிறார்.
விவசாயியைப் போல நாம் பொறுமையாய் காத்திருந்து கர்த்தரிடத்தில் கேட்ட காரியங்களை அறுவடை செய்து பெற்றுக் கொள்வோம்.
பொறுமையாய் விசுவாசத்தில் காத்திருப்பதே பெரிய அறுவடையை தரும்.
அதனால் தான் இயேசு கேளுங்கள் அப்போது கொடுக்கப்படும் என்று வேதத்தில் பல இடங்களில் சொல்லியிருக்கிறார்.

பொறுமையாய் விசுவாசத்தில் காத்திருப்பதே பெரிய அறுவடையை தரும்.
