Dwell in the House of the Lord

One thing I have desired of the LORD,  That will I seek: That I may dwell in the house of the LORD , All the days of my life.

Psalms 27:4

King David's one greatest desire is to dwell in the house of the LORD all the day of his life. What does is mean to dwell in the house of the LORD all the days of life?
Where is the house of the LORD, is it the church or temple building that you may go once a week? is that the desire of King David?
That everybody does, many people go to God's temple once a week or very often.
The word dwell here in this verse in Hebrew means to lodge, to remain and not visit. It means to be in God's temple for a longer period of time, may be days or months.
But, it is not practical to be in God's temple building and worshiping Him always,
But, it is practically possible to think about THE LORD JESUS CHRIST all the time and all the day of our life.
It is practically possible to worship HIM in our heart all the time, throughout the day.
As per 1 Corinthians 3:16, we are the God's temple and God's Spirit lives within us.
When we dwell, that is think about who GOD is, His Love, His Power, and what He has done for us,
then nothing can bother us, no enemy can defeat us because we know the Almighty is with us, because we dwell about Him always.
May your mind stay on Him, dwell in the House of the LORD always and then you will have peace and joy always and have victory.
