Yet I will rejoice
Yet I will rejoice in the LORD, I will joy in the God of my salvation.
Habakkuk 3:18
A hymn of Faith sung by Habakkuk. In the previous verse he says, though the fig tree may not blossom, Nor fruit be on the vines; Though the labor of the olive may fail, And the fields yield no food; cut off from the fold, And there be no herd in the stalls,
Yet I will rejoice in the LORD, I will joy in the God of my salvation.
Like Habakkuk you may also not see the fig tree blossom on time, nor fruit be on the vines, though your labor may fail and give no results
rejoice in the LORD.
What you may have expected may not have happened in your expected time and in the expected way, it does not mean it will not happen at all.
Though all your labor may fail and you see no reward, rejoice in the LORD.
Why because it is HE who makes the fig tree blossom any time, even it is late, it is HE who brings fruit on the vines anytime.
HE, Lord Jesus Christ prospers the works of your hand.
Nothing is too hard for HIM.
So don't be discouraged today, but rather rejoice, in the eyes of Faith see what God will do for you. Ephesians 3:20 says HE does more than we ask.
