Name of the LORD
Some trust in chariots, and some in horses; But we will remember the name of the LORD our God.
Psalm 20:7
The verse for today does not show justice for itself. The verse should be many trusts in chariots and horses, not some. That's the truth and nature of the world. In this world, many put their trust in material things like stocks, investments, jobs, talents, hard work, education, friendship, relationships, status, money, and such, but forgot to put their trust in the most reliable of all, which is the Name of the LORD.
Proverbs 18:10 says that the name of the LORD is a strong tower and the righteous run into it and are safe.
Romans 10:13 says that everyone who calls on the Name of the LORD will be saved.
Material things have limitations and can fail you for sure, but the Name of the LORD has no limitations and boundaries.
When you pray and call on the Name of the LORD which is the Name Jesus Christ, the heavens open for you and intervene on your behalf, and do the impossible in your life.
There is nothing that the Name of the LORD cannot do. Jesus can do the impossible for those who believe and put their trust in Him.
Today who do you believe, on whom you have put your trust?
God has not failed anybody in the bible who have put their trust in His Name, but on the contrary all those in history who have put their trust on their chariots and horses have failed. Learn to remember the name of the LORD, remember always that He has the power to heal you, deliver you and bless you, remember always that LORD does not say no to anybody who come to Him, remember His Name and go to Him first. Stop put your trust on chariots and horses but put your trust in the NAME OF THE LORD.
