Not guilty

He canceled the record of the charges against us and took it away by nailing it to the cross.

Colossians 2:14

When a case is filed against a person in a US court, he is presented as not guilty first as per the fifth amendment. The prosecutor or the accuser should prove him guilty.
But in the courts of heaven, it is the opposite. Yes, like the courts on Earth, there is also a court in Heaven. All wrong we do is recorded in the heavenly courts and charges are brought against us by the devil the accuser of Brethren. We are charged guilty in the first place.
The accuser wins the case many times and denies our rights to be blessed, healed, delivered, and set free because our wrongs and sins we commit prove us guilty and the penalty is punishment.
But this changed at the cross. The verse today tells us that our LORD Jesus canceled the record of charges against us and took it away from you and me and nailed it on the cross.
Every time accuser the devil charges us guilty of sin, our LORD Jesus shows him His marks on His hands and feet and says all is done, I have paid the price, I have paid the penalty and I have been punished on the cross.
And the case turns in our favor and the Father in heaven gives a verdict for us as 'Not Guilty'.
Today you are dismissed from the courts of heaven as not guilty, which means no punishments for you, because of the cross.
May this truth remind you every time that you are not guilty because of the cross, and live a life free from guilt.
Accept the verdict from heaven that you are not guilty and receive the blessings that are due.
