Fruit of the mouth

From the fruit of his mouth, a man is satisfied with good.

Proverbs 12:14

Proverbs written by king Solomon conveys to us wonderful secrets for a blessed and abundant life, one of such secrets is in today's verse. This proverb tells us how to be filled with good things in our life. The answer is by the fruit of our mouth. What does it mean? Fruit of the mouth means the words that we speak.
This proverb says that when we speak the truth and when our words are gentle and kind and not hurting or cursing others, it brings good to our own life.
When we don't complain or murmur or judge others or condemn others or complaint about others or mock others and speak behind others, instead when we always speak good about others, speak the truth and not lie, praise God with our mouth, declare the promises of God and confess our sins, then the result is being filled with good things, having good health, good relationship, good life with peace and joy.
We try many things to get good things in our life, but this proverb tells us a simple truth but yet it is the hardest. Our tongue is the hardest to tame. But when we control it and make it a habit to speak good, we reap the good harvest.
May the fruit of your mouth produce good for you and for your life.
Make a commitment to speak good always and not unwanted talk and you will be satisfied.
