The Mediator
For there is one God and one Mediator between God and men, the Man Christ Jesus.
1 Timothy 2:5
Mediator, who is he? A mediator is the person who helps settle a dispute or create an agreement between two or more people. He is the peace maker. Mediator is the person who knows both the sides very well, who is close friends of both the parties, who has interest in both of them. His main goal is to see both the people among whom he is mediating to be at peace and enjoy the relationship.
Our LORD Jesus Christ plays this mediator role every day of our life. Before the death and resurrection of Jesus Christ, there was no mediator in heaven representing us before the Father God. So we were at constant dispute with God himself, we were constantly doing things which God hated and hence the result was separation from Him and lack of His blessings in our life. But all this have changed now. You have a mediator, your LORD Jesus Christ, who mediates between you and God the Father.
Every time LORD Jesus stands before the Father in heaven interceding for you and speaking good things about you and recommending the blessings that are due for you.
LORD Jesus makes sure to get you what belongs to you from the Father in heaven, which is His goodness and inheritance, His mercy, His promises.
So don't believe on the lie that you don't have anybody to care for you or speak for you and that you are alone without hope. Remember this always, there is a mediator on your behalf before the Father in heaven, your LORD Jesus Christ and He will surely get you what you need from the Heavenly Father, He will get you the healing, get you the deliverance, get you the restoration, get you the goodness of God.
Hold on to the mediator and don't try another way to approach Heavenly Father, because there is no other way.
For He will surely make every crooked path straight in your life.
