I will not forget you

Can a woman forget her nursing child, And not have compassion on the son of her womb? Surely they may forget, Yet I will not forget you.

Isaiah 49:15

The verb forget means something or someone has been lost in memory or lost in a period of time. It is natural to forget, but when does forgetfulness come?  Medical professionals who study the brain say that memory is like words written on a classroom board and it can be erased. When the words written or pictures drawn on the board are no longer needed it is erased. Similarly our memory in the brain erases those things and those relationships when they are no longer needed, that no longer remembered.
When you are in constant touch with a person and talk to him every day, it is hard to forget him or her, but the moment you lose contact with that person for a period of time, you tend to forget them and sometimes even forget their names.
Today's verse is a promise that our LORD Jesus Christ gives us, and promise is, He will never forget us. He will never forget you. The first main reason He will not forget you is because He is always in constant relationship with you, He is always with you, near you and surrounding you, He talks to you always and He loves you very much, hence you are always before Him. Secondly He will not forget you because He has great plans for you and He is never done until He has accomplished all that He has planned for you.
Your situations and circumstances do not determine how you are going to be and going to live. It is your maker and your Father in Heaven.
He never forgets you, He has drawn you in the palm of His hands.
So rejoice and be cheerful, no sickness, no troubles, no brokenness can keep you from God's goodness and His promises are yes and amen.
He will surely deliver you and rejoice over you in doing good to you.
