Salvation

Salvation belongs to the LORD. Your blessing is upon Your people.

Psalms 3:8

Salvation (pronounced in original language as "yesh-oo´-aw"), what does this word mean? In the original language (Hebrew) this word means, deliverance, help, victory, prosperity, it also means rescue from distress or danger, security offered by fortified walls.
Now, knowing the actual meaning of this word "Salvation" we can read today's verse like this, deliverance is from the LORD, help is from the LORD, victory is from the LORD, prosperity is from the LORD, rescue and security is from the LORD.
King David wrote this verse not because he is a good writer, but because he personally experienced the LORD delivering him from trouble. When David wrote these verse, he was fleeing from his son Absalom, he was running for his life, but David knew that LORD will deliver him like in the times past.
So always remember this, no one or nobody can deliver or help or rescue or protect like your LORD Jesus Christ.
He does that only for His people and He does that voluntarily and not expect anything from you.
He is your shield and strong tower and makes you dwell in safety.
He is victorious and gives you abundant life. Always seek Him with your whole heart and He will give you the desires of your heart.
You have your LORD Jesus by your side and you will not be shaken.
