Kiss the Son

Kiss the Son, or He be angry and you perish in the way.. Blessed are all those who take refuge in him.

Psalms 2:12

Kiss the Son, what it means? who is the Son? The answer is in the same chapter, verse seven, were it says that the LORD (that is Father God) has anointed the Son (Jesus Christ) to be His heir and all that belongs to the Father belongs to the Son.
This is a new covenant. Until this point, there was no Father - Son relationship. Yahwah was God to the people of Israel and He was as a covenant keeping God. He made covenant to the people of Israel to take care of them and be their God.
But now, LORD appoints His Son (begot's means to anoint or  dedicate or appoint for a purpose, which is to be Messiah) as His heir and says all the nations must worship Him and Surrender to Him. This is the beginning of Davidic  covenant which was fulfilled in the New Testament at the time of resurrection of Christ Himself.
So 'Kiss the Son' means to Worship, Jesus Christ the Son of God, to surrender to Him and Submit to Him and take refuge in Him.
Son is everything and when you truly worship the Son, that is honor, respect and do what He says, you acknowledge that He is the heir and the King, and the result of this Worship leads to being blessed with His goodness.
Do you Kiss the Son everyday of your life and take refuge in Him?
Spend a moment today to worship Him with all your heart and thank Him for His goodness.
For Jesus Christ is your King who deserves your worship.
