Working for Good

And we know that all things work together for good to those who love God, to those who are the called according to His purpose.

Romans 8:28

Apostle Paul wants us to know that God works all things for our Good, even when it may seem not. Apostle Paul writes this verse out of His own experience. He has faced trials like no other, he was beaten, striped, starved, humiliated, yet out of all this trials he says all things work together for good to those who love God. The word love God here means those who have accepted Jesus as Lord and Savior and have a personal relationship with Him.
How can anyone who goes through trials says God is working good in His life. The answer is there in the previous two verses of this promise, where it says that the Holy Spirit who lives instead of us makes intercession for us. What more else you need when the Holy Spirit Himself make intercession for you. That is why apostle Paul with confidence says God is working good even during the trial.
No matter what he faced, he always knew it was for His good and for the good of others. And surely it was, if it was not for the trials that Apostle Paul faced we wouldn't have received so much of revelation from Him. Through it all, through the Holy Spirit interceding asking the Father to give Apostle Paul the strength, endurance, patience, good things came out.
God works in the same way in our lives, too. You may not seem anything good happening to you, but be rest assured, while you are thinking, and being sad and frustrated and discouraged, the Holy Spirit is interceding for you asking the Father to give you more faith, strength, endurance, and you will surely see the good results. Holy Spirit prayers never go unanswered.
God is working always good in your life, so don't be discouraged, rather rejoice in the Lord and thank Him at all times.
