Which door you open?

Do not give the devil an opportunity to lead you into sin by holding a grudge, or nurturing anger, or harboring resentment, or cultivating bitterness.
Ephesians 4:27

It is important as believers in Christ how we conduct our lives. The book of Ephesians reveals a lot of truth about the consequences based on how we conduct our lives.
When we believed in Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior, we were redeemed from the slavery of sin, and sin didn't have any hold on us, but we are still vulnerable to fall to it again, because we still live in this fallen world.
Hence, Apostle Paul in the book of Ephesians warns us to be careful in how we conduct our lives.
When we still live as we did before accepting Christ and be in anger, have bitterness, lying, have corrupt words, prideful, quarrel and be like those who do not know Christ, then we open a door or give opportunity to the devil to have a hold on us and cause harm to us, cause sickness and pain and cause defeat and failure.
When we were born again that is accepted Jesus as Lord and Savior, we were given the Spirit of Christ to dwell in us and this Spirit of Christ helps us to walk righteously, walk in love, be kind and truthful, be gentle etc. and when we do so we shut the door to the devil and open the door to the Spirit of Christ through whom all blessings flow in heavenly places.
So as followers of Christ, let's walk worthy of the calling, renew our mind with this truth every day, shutting the every door to the devil and live a blessed life. It is in your hands and with the help of the Holy Spirit you can truly live a blessed life.
