See God
Blessed are the pure in heart, for they will see God.
Mathew 5:8
We all want to see the mighty hand of God in our lives. We want to see miracles, we want to see impossible things from God, want to experience His presence, His power. Jesus mentions in Mathew 5:8 that we can see all of these if we are pure in heart.
Heart is the most crucial component of our lives. It is not the physical heart that Jesus is pointing to us, it is our spiritual heart, our deep longing and desire for God.
Proverbs 4:23 says out of a man's heart springs issues of life. Our spiritual heart carries a lot of things which are not good and causes the problems in our life.
For example, our bitterness, unforgiveness, greed, lust, covetousness, anger, jealousy, pride, selfishness, and many more causes the issues of life, which also causes not to see the work of God in our lives.
That is why it is very important that we keep our heart pure. How do we keep our heart pure, by fellowship with our Lord Jesus Christ every day, by reading His word and knowing and following what it says.
This habit of closeness with God, makes your heart pure, you develop the fruit of the Spirit such as love, joy, peace, kindness, gentleness, meekness, patience, self-control , which helps you see the mighty hand of God operate in your every area of daily life and in the life of your children and family.
This is a promise that Jesus gives to all those who follow Him and love Him with all their heart, soul and mind.
Today let your heart be pure looking unto Him and you will see Him.
