Prayer to become wise

The best way for anyone to become wise in everything is to know and realize how short the life we live here on earth. Many times we forgot this most important truth, and we tend to live life as though this is our permanent place. We work hard and strife in our job every day, sometimes even spend less time with family and friends and spending time to help others. We also follow this same pattern when it comes to spending time with our Father in heaven. We get too busy and forgot to read the bible and pray.
The psalmist was in the same place as we are. He, too, was caught in the everyday routine of life, everyday struggles, everyday busyness and this is why he prays this prayer.
This should be the prayer we all should be praying every day of our life, that is asking our Father in heaven to teach us how short our life is, make us realize how short our life is.
This prayer will make us wise, give us the wisdom to live a life as per God's will and not ours.
With this wisdom, truly we will be able to live a life free from struggles, confusion and pain. When we live life as per our goal, then we end up with worldly problems, but when we realize the importance of life and how short it is, then we live with a heavenly goal, that is God given goal, which is light and not heavy and burdensome. That is why Jesus said, take my yoke and put it on you, and learn from me, because I am gentle and humble in spirit; and you will find rest.
So pray this prayer every day of your life to become wise. Heavenly Father teach me how short my life is. Amen
