Ultimate Treasure / விலை உயர்ந்த பொக்கிஷம்
Everything else is worthless when compared with the infinite value of knowing Christ Jesus my Lord.
Philippians 3:8
Apostle Paul states a very important truth in this verse today. He compares everything else with Christ and says the ultimate value is knowing Christ Jesus, all others are worthless.
What is everything else? it is our status, power, skill, wealth, caste, education, religion, relationship which includes parents, children, spouse and so on.
We spend lot of time knowing about the things of this world such as investments, opportunity, history, we spend time to know about our neighbors and friends,
we spend time with them going on vacation or trips. All this are not bad, but Apostle Paul says all these are worthless and of no value, than spending time knowing about Lord Jesus Christ.
I am sure you all want the most valuable things in your life and you strife towards achieving and knowing about the best and having the best in your life.
Today, if you haven't done so, start spending as much time as possible with Lord Jesus Christ and know who He is.
You can spend time with Him by reading His Word and pray in His presence.
For our Lord Jesus Christ is the ultimate treasure.
His value is beyond measure.
Know Him more than anything in this world, which alone can give you the much desired satisfaction.

அப்போஸ்தலர் பவுல் இந்த வசனத்தில் ஒரு முக்கியமான உண்மையை வெளிப்படுத்தி இருக்கிறார். அவர் இந்த உலகத்தின் காரியங்களையும், இயேசுவையும் ஒப்பிட்டு இயேசுவை அறிவதே எல்லாவற்றிலும் மேன்மையானது என்று சொல்லி, இந்த உலகத்தின் காரியங்கள் எல்லாம் நஷ்டமானது என்று கருதி இருக்கிறார்.
உலக காரியங்கள் யாவை, அது நம்முடைய அந்தஸ்து, பதவி, படிப்பு, திறமை, சொத்து, ஜாதி, மதம், உறவுகள், இவைகளே ஆகும். நாம் இப்படியான உலகத்தின் காரியங்களுக்கு முக்கியத்துவம் கொடுத்து மிகுந்த நேரத்தை செலவழிக்கிறவர்களாய் காணப்படுகிறோம்.
முதலீடு செய்வதிலும் பல முக்கியமான வாய்ப்புகளை தேடி செல்வதிலும், பல மணி நேரத்தை நாம் செலவழிக்கிறவர்களாய் காணப்படுகிறோம்.
ஆனால் அப்போஸ்தலர் பவுல் இவைகள் எல்லாம் நஷ்டமானவைகள் என்று கூறியிருக்கிறார். இயேசுவை அறிவதே லாபம். இயேசுவை அறிவதே ஒரு பெரிய பொக்கிஷம். வேத வசனத்தை தினந்தோறும் வாசித்து ஜெபிக்கும் பொழுது இயேசுவை குறித்து நாம் அறிந்து கொள்ளுகிறோம். அவ்வாறாக அவரை அறிந்து கொள்ளும் பொழுது எண்ணில் அடங்கா நன்மைகளை நாம் பெற்றுக் கொள்கிறோம்.
ஆதலால் இன்றைக்கு இயேசுவை அறிந்து கொள்வதற்கு முக்கியத்துவம் கொடுங்கள். அவரே விலை உயர்ந்த பொக்கிஷம்.
உலக காரியங்கள் யாவை, அது நம்முடைய அந்தஸ்து, பதவி, படிப்பு, திறமை, சொத்து, ஜாதி, மதம், உறவுகள், இவைகளே ஆகும். நாம் இப்படியான உலகத்தின் காரியங்களுக்கு முக்கியத்துவம் கொடுத்து மிகுந்த நேரத்தை செலவழிக்கிறவர்களாய் காணப்படுகிறோம்.
முதலீடு செய்வதிலும் பல முக்கியமான வாய்ப்புகளை தேடி செல்வதிலும், பல மணி நேரத்தை நாம் செலவழிக்கிறவர்களாய் காணப்படுகிறோம்.
ஆனால் அப்போஸ்தலர் பவுல் இவைகள் எல்லாம் நஷ்டமானவைகள் என்று கூறியிருக்கிறார். இயேசுவை அறிவதே லாபம். இயேசுவை அறிவதே ஒரு பெரிய பொக்கிஷம். வேத வசனத்தை தினந்தோறும் வாசித்து ஜெபிக்கும் பொழுது இயேசுவை குறித்து நாம் அறிந்து கொள்ளுகிறோம். அவ்வாறாக அவரை அறிந்து கொள்ளும் பொழுது எண்ணில் அடங்கா நன்மைகளை நாம் பெற்றுக் கொள்கிறோம்.
ஆதலால் இன்றைக்கு இயேசுவை அறிந்து கொள்வதற்கு முக்கியத்துவம் கொடுங்கள். அவரே விலை உயர்ந்த பொக்கிஷம்.
