Born for you
For unto you is born this day in the city of David a Savior, who is Christ the Lord.
Luke 2:11
Birth of Lord Jesus is very special. It is the only birth prophecied at the begining of creation itself, in Gen 3:15. All through the old testament in many places birth of Jesus Christ was prophecied. All the prophecies about His birth came to pass accurately. As prophecied in many places in old testament, Christ was born of a virgin, in a little town called bethlehem and grew up in Nazareth to be called a Narazarene.
But why this significant birth? Why was Christ born?
The reason is mentioned in Luke's gospel chapter 2 and verse 11.
He was born for you, in order to be with you.
Lord Jesus Christ who was in the beginining and who created all things, left His position in heaven to come down to be with you.
He was born as a sacrificial lamb to take away ours sins and reconcile with God and restore what we have lost and to give us eternal life.
You are not alone, Lord Jesus Christ who was born for you is with you and when He is with you who can be against you or what can be against you.
So celebrate this Christmas knowing that Christ was born for you. He will surely meet all your needs according to His riches in glory.
