The Test

Test, it is something that we all face in our lives. Not only when we were young and studying in school but even now in our workplace we are tested, assignments are given and we have to prove worthy.
Tests are good, they promote us and prove us worthy of higher roles and higher responsibilities.
Tests take us from one level to another.
Similarly in God's Kingdom, we are tested by God Himself. Unlike the world, God does not test our ability, wisdom, or capability, but instead, He tests our heart.
Because out of our heart springs issues of life.
He tests our hearts for our willingness and eagerness to walk with Him and walk with Him upright.
When you ask for a blessing, God tests your heart to see if you ask for your own benefit or for the overall benefit of others.
Testing is good because it reveals to us our own condition and hence gives us the opportunity to repent and change our ways. Is there a delay in your life in receiving God's promises, maybe it is a test, explore your heart and see what God is revealing about you.
God always wants to bless you, but before blessing wants to make sure that the blessing won't hurt you.
