Repayment

The word repay in the verse today in hebrews means reward. Unlike gift, reward is earned. Reward is given to someone who has deserved it.
Some are rewarded for their hard work, some for their integrity, some are rewarded for their humbleness and truthfulness.
Reward has a backgroud story.
Not only the world rewards for the good, but our God the Father also rewards for our good.
The verse today says that He rewards for our righteousness and faithfulness. Righteousness is when we walk in his ways, in the right path as per God's standards and not as per worlds standards. Righteousness is when we are made right with God. Rightesousness is sinless life.
When we accepted LORD Jesus, bible says we have been made righteous and we are led by the Holy Spirit to live a righteous life.
Hence He rewards us with favor, grace, mercy, protection, provision, peace, joy and much more.
The reward that comes from Him is everlasting. You may have not received rewards from men, but God sees your every act and have noticed what man has not and will reward you greatly, not only you but your generation.
Get repaid by your righteous acts and may your life be filled with closet of His rewards.
