Constant touch
Is anyone among you suffering? Let him pray. Is anyone cheerful? let him sing psalms.
James 5:13
Apostle James, half brother of our LORD Jesus Christ teaches us an important truth. He instructs us to do two things all the time depending on our condition.
They are to pray during tough times when we are in the valley and sing praises to God the Father when we are having good times and on top of the mountain. There are only two condition in our life, either we face hardship, struggle, pain, disappointment, defeat and such
or we face victory, success, deliverance, breakthrough, healing, restoration which makes us glad and joyful.
It is very important for us to acknowledge God the Father in both these conditions.
Pray to Him, deligently seeking Him while in suffering thus acknowledging in faith that God alone can deliver and give victory.
Praise Him with psalms with a joyful heart while in gladness thus acknowledging in faith that it is God the Father who has given that victory, deliverance and breakthrough.
Be in constant touch with God the Father through LORD Jesus Christ by doing these two things. For it is the will of God.
