Why to pray?
Then you will call upon Me and go and pray to Me, and I will listen to you.
Jeremiah 29:12
God the Father gives three important instructions for every believer to follow every day of their life. These three instructions are life-giving and are crucial. What are the three instructions? First to come to Him, second to call upon Him and third to pray to Him.
Let's look at the first instruction. Come to Him every day. Why should believers come to Father God every day?
The answer is in the previous verse 11. We should come to Him because He has great plans for everyone who believes in Him, plans to do good and prosper and not harm.
So it is the most important thing. We come to Him because He has answers for our blessed life.
Second, you call upon Him. It is like going to your phone and dialing the number of God to talk to Him.
Your every answer is on the other side of the call. So you call upon Him in the name of the LORD Jesus Christ.
Third you pray. Every time you come to Him and call upon Him in the name of LORD Jesus, He answers your call. No time your call to Father God goes to voicemail.
So when you pray, that is when you now talk to Him and ask Him He gives His marvelous plan and solution and answers for your life.
Your Father in heaven alone can give you life's best answers that you need and He alone can lift you up from the pit and make you stand on the rock.
So come to Him, call upon Him, and pray to Him. You pray because the only answer comes from Him, your only help comes from Him because He alone has great plans for you to prosper you and not harm you.
