The Touch
As many as touched it were made perfectly well.
Matthew 14:36
When our LORD Jesus Christ walked on this earth HE healed all who had faith. HE healed them by HIS words and some got healed by touching HIM, touching HIS garment.
Today's verse is one such healing. When the LORD Jesus Christ crossed over and came to the land of Gennesaret, men of that place begged HIM that they might only touch the hem of HIS garment and as many as touched it were made perfectly well.
It does not say made well or somewhat well but perfectly well.
So was this type of healing and blessing was only available at the time LORD Jesus walked on earth?
No not at all. The word of God says Jesus is the same yesterday, today, and forever.
This same healing, deliverance, and blessing is available even today. Which means how to receive such healing, deliverance, and blessing? Jesus is not with us physically on earth.
The answer is, the LORD Jesus Christ may not be physically on earth, but HE is with us even closer through HIS word.
HIS words in the bible are the very HIMSELF, which talks to us and walks with us.
When you read HIS words in the bible, you are touching the hem of HIS garment and when you read HIS word in faith you receive that healing, deliverance, and blessing.
The more you read HIS words, the more you are closer to HIM and hence able to touch HIS garment easily and be set free.
You cannot be in a distance and try to touch HIM, you have to come near to LORD Jesus Christ in order to touch HIM.
How do you come hear to LORD Jesus Christ now, it is by meditating HIS word day and night.
