The Bunker
You are my hiding place; You shall preserve me from trouble; You shall surround me with songs of deliverance.
Psalms 32:7
Hiding place, it is the place one goes to be unseen, untraceable, and unavailable so that those who look to attack and harm will think that person does not exist or is not present in that place and hence retreat.
During the war, the best hiding place is the bunker, where the enemy couldn't see or trace and hence could not harm.
It is believed that during World War II, Winston Churchill made his most important decisions to win the war in his hiding place which was the bunker.
You too have a hiding place or the bunker to which you can run too and from which you can make important life-winning decisions. This hiding place is your LORD Jesus Christ.
When you are with HIM every day of your life and do all that HE says and walk in HIS will, you are in HIS hiding place, in HIS arms and no enemy or trouble can come near to touch you or harm you and capture you or capture your thoughts to make you a slave.
When you are in the bunker which is in the safe arms of the LORD Jesus Christ, He preserves you from trouble and surrounds you with songs of deliverance.
He will keep you, make HIS face shine upon you, and be gracious to you, HE will lift up HIS countenance upon you and give you HIS peace.
The moment when you step out of HIS will and start doing things on your own, you step out of the bunker and then the trouble starts.
So learn to be with the LORD and walk in HIS will and by doing so live in HIS bunker.
When the LORD Jesus Christ is for you who can be against you.
Don't doubt, don't fear, don't be anxious, don't walk in the flesh, All these actions expose you to the trap the enemy has set before you, but rather walk in the Spirit with the LORD and He shall be your very present help always. May the LORD be your bunker.
