The diligent
The plans of the diligent lead surely to plenty, But those of everyone who is hasty, surely to poverty.
Proverbs 21:5
What is diligent? It is an action that is careful, patient, persistent, and not based on emotions. When a person is with such qualities at work and at home, then the word of God says that he will have plenty. He will not lack.
But the opposite of diligent is hasty, not thinking, acting based on emotions, and easily giving up, and this kind of attitude will lead to poverty.
This is one of the greatest life lessons that one should learn and practice.
Many times we easily lose patience, we sometimes become nervous and anxious, and most of the time give room for emotions, hence our decisions and actions are based on such things and hence we tend to make wrong choices and mistakes that lead us to disappointments, failure and hence struggle.
Learn to be diligent in all you do, learn to control your emotions which is key to success, learn to not give up, and be persistent.
so how to learn to be diligent and be diligent in all we do?
The answer is this,
God knows all you do, there is nothing you do that God does not know. When you face something surprising, God knows already about that, when you face a health situation or financial situation, or family situation that has come against you, instead of panicking and making haste decisions, go to your Father in heaven, your God, He has drawn you in the palm of His hands and wants to help you and take care of you.
When you do this you are diligent, when you do this and be calm, the Holy Spirit will show you the way out and also change you into the person who God wants you to be. Be diligent in all you do and you will have plenty.
