Eating the fruit

The tongue has the power of life and death, and those who love it will eat its fruit.

Proverbs 18:21

Research shows the average person speaks at least 7000 words a day, with many speaking much more than that.
Words are the most important, it communicates what one wants, thinks, does. It also communicates emotions and feelings. Words spoken describe the personality of a person. Words brings a community together, a culture to stand strong and build a nation.
Without words the world will be in a standstill. Words have the power to build and to destroy.
Hebrews 11:3 says that God created the universe by His Word.
That is why it is very important what we speak. Because words that we speak acts on our behalf.
When you speak a blessing it becomes true, when you speak a evil it also becomes reality.
king Solomon understood this truth and shared it in the proverbs.
It is of vital importance what you speak, many times we take it for granted and speak whatever comes to our mind, even sometimes to our children and to our own family and even to our selves.
We sometimes out of frustration or jokingly say I am going to die and not live, we sometimes out of anger say to our loved ones or children you are going to fail.
Words we speak out of emotions hurts others, breaks relationships and causes brokeness.
But words of blessing and words of faith and goodness brings life, healing, restoration. Words of encouragement builds the faith within a person, words of love heals all wounds. When you speak the promises of God, it comes true in your life. You eat the fruit of eat, you enjoy the blessings of it.
So make a commitment today to speak God's Word and words of blessing over yourself, your family, your friends and may you reap and eat it's fruit.
