The Righteous
For you, O LORD will bless the righteous; With favor, You will surround him as with a shield.
Psalms 5:12
The verse today affirms that LORD surely blesses the righteous and surrounds him with favor. This is a promise for lifetime of a righteous. LORD Jesus wants to bless the righteous with an abundant life, with a healthy life, with a prosperous life.
Only to the righteous, this promise is given and blessings are only for the righteous.
So who is the righteous? or how to become a righteous in order to be blessed by God.
The answer is in 2 Corinthians 5:21. When we believe in LORD Jesus Christ and are saved, then we become the righteousness of God.
Our sins are washed away and we are made righteous. That one simple yet profound act changes us inside out and makes us righteous in the sight of God.
And He starts to bless us and surround us with favor.
Today if you have believe in LORD Jesus and obtained salvation you are righteous and God wants to bless you and not punish you.
So with this truth approach the LORD and seek Him and boldly enter His throne room of grace and ask Him.
Because you are righteous, He is willing to listen to your prayers and bless you and surround you with His favor.
He is willing to bless you, heal you, deliver you, and take care of you. He never hates you or rejects you or neglects you or stops blessing you.
You are righteous because you believed in LORD Jesus Christ, hence blessings of the LORD are yours.
