The greatest gift
And now these three remain: faith, hope and love. But the greatest of these is love.
1 Corinthians 13:13
1 Corinthians chapter 13 is called the love chapter. The end of the chapter mentions three great forces in the kingdom of God, which is faith, hope and love, but apsotle Paul goes on to say that love is the greatest of all. It doesn't mean that others are insignificant, but without love everthing else becomes nothing.
The gift of salvation is out of God's love towards us.
God's love is extraordinary. His love is sacrificial, His love is unchanging, His love is eternal and it never fails.
When we are saved, He comes to live within us and hence His love remains in us and is the greatest gift we have. When we use this gift of God's love in every day walk of our life, it makes us to break barriers and hurdles, it enables us to restore brokeness, it destroys every evil plan against us and fulfills God's promises in our life.
Apostle Paul makes very important statement in this chapter, he says everything we fail, prophecy may fail, greatest knowledge and wisdom will fail, greatest achievements may fail, wealth and prospertiy may fail, but one thing that stands forever is God's love.
So today excercise God's love always and at all times to everyone around you. This is the greatest gift which makes everything possible in your life.
