Our Weapons
For the weapons of our warfare are not carnal but mighty in God for pulling down stronghold.
2 Corinthians 10:4
2 Corinthians 10:4
Every day we face battles either within ourselves or outside with others surrounding us. Our mind becomes our battlefield and thoughts come and fight against us causing fear, worry, anxiety, and doubt, which intern spoils our health, relationship, and well-being.
Sometimes we fight a battle with others, not physically but emotionally, these battles are within family, in our workplace, with our friends, and such.
We try to overcome and win all these battles with our own strength, our own effort, and our own skill only to find out we fail each time.
In the verse today, apostle Paul introduces us to a mighty weapon that brings victory every time we use it. This weapon is only available to those who have accepted Jesus as their LORD and Savior. It is God's own weapon. God's weapons are prayer, praise, and promise.
When we use these three weapons, we easily bring down every stronghold, every resistance against us. No earthly stronghold has a chance to stand against the weapons of God.
Hence, instead of using your fleshly weapon, instead of arguing, instead of becoming angry, instead of fighting in the flesh, bend down your knee in prayer and ask the LORD for help, start praising His name, and declare and have faith on His promises which is the very word of God.
These weapons are mighty and bring down every stronghold against you.
God's weapons are our weapons, your weapons.
