Live by Word
Man shall not live by bread alone, but man lives by every word that proceeds from the mouth of the LORD.
Deuteronomy 8:3
Working hard is the motto for becoming successful in life. We see many examples of people working hard and coming up in life.
But the bible gives us another view for a successful life. It is by every word that proceeds from the mouth of the LORD.
It is not just enough that we work hard, many people do that, many work 60 or 70 hours a week, but still live a poor life, disappointed life.
It is God's every word that makes one successful and propels them to the highest places.
What is God's every word, it is His every promise that He spoke and is written in the bible.
When you hold on to the promises of God, write it in your heart, and declare it with your mouth, then this very word of God will go before you and work for you and make every crooked place straight.
That is why the psalmist prays this prayer 'Establish your word to Your servant', that is make your word to stand up and do the mighty miracles it always does.
When you speak God's promises out of your mouth, something extraordinary happens.
Today may the living word of God fill your hearts and mind and your mouth and make you successful.
