Gates of Righteousness
Open to me the gates of righteousness; I will go through them, And I will praise the LORD.
Psalms 118:19
Gates of righteousness, what is it? In the next verse, we have the answer to that. It is the gate of the LORD through which the righteous shall enter.
In order to approach God one has to be righteous, that is considered in the eyes of God as someone who is without sin and blameless.
Only such person are allowed into the temple of the LORD where He is.
But Romans 3:23 says no one is righteous and all have sinned, so who can enter the LORD's temple, no one because all sinned.
But God out of His abundant mercy sent His one and only Son Jesus Christ to pay the penalty for our sins by hanging on the cross.
So now whoever believes and accepts God's only Son Jesus Christ as His Savior becomes righteous because the blood of Jesus Christ cleanses such from all unrighteousness.
So now you have access to the very throne room of God through the gates of righteousness, so you can present your request and He Himself will hear your petition and grant your request.
So enter through the gates of righteousness. Do not hesitate, nothing can stop you from going to LORD GOD Almighty when you are washed and cleansed by the blood of the Lamb. Ask and it shall be given and your Joy will be full.
