Unchained Word
The Word of God is not chained.
2 Timothy 2:9
The first thing that comes to mind when we think about chain is prison. From the time past chain has been the symbol of bondage, something that ties us and bind us, preventing us to move freely. Chain represents slavery and not freedom.
We may not be bond physical by the chain today, but most of the time we are bound by the invisible chain in our thoughts and by the life we live.
We tend to be bound by circumstances and situation and the past. In fact the world is bound in chain by one thing or the other, there are limitations and restrictions.
The verse we read today says that there is one thing in the entire cosmos which is unbound and unchained, that which is not chained, and it is the Word of the living God.
The Word of God is living and sharper than any double edge sword and can pierce any unpenetrable places.
That is why is important to speak the Word of God, speak His promises and declare it in faith.
The Word of God is our representative, who will work for us and get the job done for us.
Make it a habit to speak the Word of God always. May the Word of God written in the Bible be written in your hearts and be in your mouth throughout the day.
Practice this habit and you will see amazing results. It will unchain you from your thoughts and from your circumstances and set you free, it will bless you, and make you joyful.
