Pre-appointed times
He has determined their pre-appointed times and the boundaries of their dwellings.
Acts 17:26
We strive everyday to achieve our goals in life. We have our own agenda and desires and goals and want to become something in life. We work hard for a better lifestyle and desire to live in the best places and give best life for our children. Nothing wrong in all this. In fact one should have a vision and goal in life and work towards it. Life without aim is like a reed swayed by the wind. It bends which ever side the wind blows and does not take a stand on its own.
But our goal and vision must be in alignment with God's plan and His will or else even if we have our own goals which is not of God's will, we will struggle to attain it.
Because as per today's verse, God has already pre-appointed our times and boundaries of our dwellings. He has already set a plan to prosper us and do good to us. He has already determined where we will live and our children will live and what we will do and our children do.
He always works in our lives to direct us towards His plan. When we drift away, He corrects our path through circumstances and situations and brings us back to His plan.
That is why it is important that we always seek His plan and His will before we try to do anything in our lives and in our children lives. Find out His will and once you do, work hard towards that plan that God has in your lives. Then it will succeed and you will be prosper, peaceful, satisfied and be able to enjoy His blessings.
He knows what is best for us rather than we knowing our best path.
Hence it is always better to trust Him our life and our children life.
Many times our struggle is when we deviate from this truth and go our own way.
Let's learn to walk in His ways and in His path. He has already pre-appointed it for us and hence enjoy life. After all, God has planned abundant life for us, so we don't lose anything if we choose His path.
