Hosanna

Hosanna! Blessed is He who comes in the name of the LORD! The King of Israel.

John 12:13

The word Hosanna in Hebrew means save us, deliver us. It is a cry or a prayer for deliverance. When Jesus entered Jerusalem for the last time before crucifixion, the people of Israel gave him a royal welcome. After seeing all the miracles that Jesus did and hearing His teachings, they believed He is the Messiah, but not as the Messiah that Jesus said He has come to be, but as a Messiah who is going to deliver them from the roman rule and roman suppression.
God had different plan. He sent His son Jesus as the Messiah, as the savior to save the world from the greater suppressor, the enemy the devil.
Not realizing this, the people of Israel welcomed Jesus as a Messiah, as a King who would deliver them from romans. That is why they should Hosanna, which means save us, deliver us oh great King from the romans.
Today you may have been or going through situation and feeling suppressed and under bondage and needed a deliverance.
Jesus is that Messiah who can truly save you and deliver you, because He alone has the power and authority to save you and deliver you from the rule of kingdom of darkness.
So call upon Him, shout Hosanna, He will come and save you and rescue you.
You may need healing and restoration, you may want your loved ones to be saved. Shout Hosanna, Blessed is He who comes in the name of the LORD. He will surely fight your battles and give you the victory.
