Your good deeds

In the passage today, our LORD Jesus instructs us to do good deeds to all who are around us. He did not ask us to do good deeds only to those who are good, He said do good deeds to everyone, even if they are bad to us, even if they are mean to us, even if they mean harm to us.
This is important why?
The moment we accept Jesus as our LORD and Savior, His Spirit comes to dwell in us and one of the main purpose of the Holy Spirit is to share God's goodness to others who live in darkness, so they can also know Him and be delivered out of darkness.
God loves everybody and want everyone to know Him and not suffer in the influence of darkness.
Hence He uses us as an instrument or as a vessel to show His goodness to the world. He counts on you and me to be a blessing to the dark and dying world.
When you do good to others especially those who are in the darkness, they see the light, they see the good God at work and praise Him.
You become a vessel that enables many to praise God.
Today may your light shine brightly in dark world, may your good deeds increase and reveal the good nature of our God and LORD Jesus Christ.
Take a moment and think what good you can do today which will show God's goodness to others.
May the name of the LORD be glorified through you.
