Gathering Together
For where two or three are gathered together in My name, I am there in the midst of them.
Matthew 18:20
In today's verse our LORD Jesus insist on the importance of gathering in His name. These words that are spoken by Jesus Himself is a promise and it is true even for today. When we gather in Jesus name He come to be with us and when He is with us we can worship Him, talk to Him and He does miracles among us, just like how He did when He was on earth.
That is why going to church is important, because we as believers gather together in the name of our LORD Jesus and as per this verse He is present with us in the church.
We can also have Jesus come to our home everyday, when we gather in Jesus name. When you and your husband or wife gather together to pray or worship, Jesus is there immediately at your home. When you have a prayer group at your home, He is there at your house.
When Jesus is with the gathering He performs miracles as He did 2000 years ago when He walked this earth.
That is why gathering is very important, not just any gathering but gathering in the name of Jesus.
Today you may be facing struggle and challenge, gather together, call your husband or wife to pray together or a believing friend to pray together, when you do so, you invite Jesus to come to you and wherever two or three gathered together in His name, He comes and listens and performs the miracle and blesses you.
Gather together and have LORD Jesus come to you.
