The impossible God
Jesus looked at them intently and said, “Humanly speaking, it is impossible. But with God everything is possible.
Matthew 19:26
This is a very important word of God, which reminds us the limitations of human beings. From the beginning to time, men and women who have lived and are living have achieved great things. Be it building the pyramid or conquering the world or going to the moon or exploring the universe or medical science that saves lives, there has been great and wonderful work done by human being on this earth. Out of all the species on earth, the human race has been the most intelligent of all, but yet bible paints a different picture and shows that there are limitations as human, we have our boundaries set, and there are are lot of impossibilities in the human realm.
This is the fact, even though as human we try to do many things and may be proud of it, but we are being with limited capabilities. We don’t have the capability to give life and take it back, we don’t have capability to raise death things to life, we don’t have capability to control things outside of our boundary, we don’t have capability to even control things within our own space and life.
That is why Jesus mentions this important truth to make us realize that we are limited and we need God who can do the impossible. For with God there are no boundaries and limitation, He brings the dead back to life and who creates new things out of nothing, He speaks to the storm and it becomes silent, He walks on water, He transforms lives and does miracle and wonders.
Today let us remind ourselves about this fact and submit and approach our God and LORD Jesus Christ and in faith seek Him and not be constrained by our limited knowledge and allow God to do the impossible in our lives.
