Before you were born
Before I made you in your mother's womb, I knew you. Before you were born, I chose you for a special work
Jeremiah 1:4-5
Today's verse reminds us that God knows His people before they are born and chooses each one of them for a special work, a special calling unique to them. God is a God who plans things out in advance and we fall into those plans.
Our special calling, obviously, is not the same as Jeremiah's and it may not be anything anywhere near as important as Jeremiah's, but it is a calling nonetheless.
Since it is God who calls us for special works, it is He who is at work in all of us doing everything as per His plan.
This is important to realize, because whatever happens in our life God is in control of it. He knows and it is all for good.
Even our bad situations is good because God's plans are always good for us.
Since we are in God's plan we can be at peace because no matter what happens in our lives it is always for good. We need not panic or be worried or be fearful.
God does not forget us nor leave us and He fulfills His plan in our lives till the very end.
He said though your mother may forget you but I will not, I have drawn you in the palm of My hand.
Today let this sink in your mind that God who made you, knew you before you were born, He has called you as per His plan and He will not leave you nor forsake you.
So relax and praise God and thank Him for His Son Jesus Christ and enjoy the day. God is with you and for you.
