Mind on Him
LORD will keep you in, perfect peace, whose mind is stayed on Him.
Isaiah 26:3
Bible has wonderful promises. Today's verse is one such promise. In the chaotic world the first and foremost thing we need is perfect peace.
There are many leaders of the nation or religious leaders who promise peace, but either it doesn't happen or it is temporary.
The one place we get a perfect peace is from LORD Jesus Christ.
Philippians 4:7 says that the peace of God surpasses all understanding will guard your hearts and mind in Christ Jesus.
Today's verse also tells us the same. We can live in perfect peace only when our mind is focused and stayed on Lord Jesus Christ.
The moment you take your eyes out of LORD Jesus, fear, doubt and confusion starts to cover you and drag and pull you down.
That is why it is important to stay focused and train your mind to focus on Jesus.
How to train the mind to focus on Jesus? The best way to do is to read His Word and meditate upon it every day and every moment. From the beginning of this year, develop the habit of filling your minds with God's word. God has blessed us with technology and the phones we carry has different version and format of the bible. You can listen in audio format or read the bible from your phone, you have access to it all the time. So make it a practice and a habit to open the bible and read His word. Which alone can help you focus your mind on Jesus and guard your hearts and give you peace that surpasses all understanding and give you victory this year.
