Old has passed
Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation. The old has passed away; behold, the new has come.
2 Corinthians 5:17
We all like new beginnings. Many times we think it would be great If we are given a chance to start our lives from the beginning so we get a chance to fix the wrongs, fix the mess we created in our lives, but life goes on and we live with the consequences of our mistakes.
But the verse today shares a good news with you and me. It tells us that we don't have to live with the consequences of our mistakes, we can correct those, we can fix the mess, we can have a fresh start, have new beginnings in our relationships, new life without consequences of our past.
But how ? The answer is when we are in Christ.
When we walk everyday in Christ, that walk Christ walked with love, humility, kindly, gently, sacrificially, we are given a chance to have a fresh start. We have to put on the cloth of Christ, we have to put on His yoke. See like He sees, Talk like He talks, walk like He walks.
When we are in Christ, we become new creation, our old passes away, our mess passes away, our wrongs passes away, our past passes away and we are given a new chance, new comes in our lives, we are handed down new chance so we can live life the way God wanted us to live and fully please Him and satisfy Him.
Yes you are given a chance to rewrite your past, so you don't have to live in the guilt of your past.
From Today make it a habit to live in Christ, live like Christ, when you do so your old has passed and new has come.
