Unplanned Pregnancy
You will conceive and give birth to a son, and you are to call him Jesus.
Luke 1:31
Mary was shocked hearing the news of her pregnancy. It was unplanned pregnancy. Even in her remotest dream Mary wouldn’t have thought about this incident. It came all of a sudden, Mary was not expecting it at all. But this was not an unplanned situation for God. In fact He has planned the birth of His Son Jesus long before laying the foundation of the earth.
Like Mary many of us today face unplanned, unexpected circumstances. Like Mary you may be in shock because of an unexpected, unfortunate event and may be wondering why all this happens to me.
You may be in shock like Mary and in panic and may be filled with all negative thoughts in the mind and may have lot of questions. But be of good cheer, even though it might seem a shock to you, God knows it all.
He knows even before the unplanned, unexpected, unfortunate incident happens in your life, sometimes God allows it, sometimes He has orchestrated it from the begining of time.
Do not worry. God has you in the palm of His hand.
Like He protected Mary through the pregnancy, He will protect you through the unexpected, unfortunate situation you face. He is with you and for you.
The circumstances you face may be unfortunate for you, but for God it is not. Romans 8:28 says all things work together for good to those who love God, to those who are the called according to His purpose.
Even though Mary's first born child was an unplanned pregnancy and was unexpected, It was the most blessed pregnancy of all times. God can take your unfortunate situations and turn it to be the most blessed.
Enjoy this Christmas season, because Jesus can do the impossible in your life, like He did for Mary.
