He is with you and for you
The LORD your God is in your midst, a mighty one who will save; he will rejoice over you with gladness; he will quiet you by his love.
Zephaniah 3:17
As children of God believing in LORD Jesus Christ we are never alone. Immanuel, God is with you among you always. God by nature is omnipresent and is everywhere, but for His children He is present in a special way. He lives within us and says I will be their God and they will be my people.
What does this mean for us? When God lives withing us, what is it for us?
It means the Mighty God who is within us fights our battles, for Him nothing is impossible. It means He watches over us and when danger comes protects us. We have no reason to fear, because If God is for us, who can be against us?
It means He takes the responsibility to provide for our needs more than we need. It means He uses His power to quiet the storms in our life which comes to drown us.
It means He pours His love upon us and blesses us with His goodness, It means He restores and return all we have lost double portion. It means God is always for us, supporting us, on our side every time. Comes to our rescue everytime.
This is the GOD who is within you and me. The mighty one who saves and rejoices over you with gladness and quiets you with His love.
Today rest in His peace and surrender all your cares at His feet. He will take care of you and be with you till very end. Enjoy the season of Christmas, thanking Him for what He has done.
