The Effective Prayer
Pray in the Spirit at all times and on every occasion. Stay alert and be persistent in your prayers for all believers everywhere.
Ephesians 6:18
The month of December starts the celebration of Christmas. It reminds us what God did for us. But one very important event that happened by the birth of Christ was, the communication with God was opened for all man kind.
We are all able to freely pray and ask our God the Father in Heaven. We have been granted the privilege to pray and communicate with the most Holy God.
But what is the effective way we can communicate. Apostle Paul teaches us four ways to pray effectively.
First we must pray in the Spirit. Through Jesus Christ our LORD we have been given the Holy Spirit to help us in our weaknesses. Hence the first effective way to communicate with our God is to invite the Holy Spirit to pray along with us. This kind of prayer uttered by the Holy Spirit on our behalf is pure and perfect.
Secondly we should be praying at all times no matter what the situations looks like. There is nothing prayer cannot do. Even if circumstances we see with our eyes looks impossible, all we have to do is pray and LORD will do the rest.
Thirdly to be alert in prayer, not wavering in our mind, but be firm and focussed. Lastly be persistent. Keep knocking at heavens doors.
These four ways of prayers can open doors which cannot be shut, can penetrate Iron door and break the bars of Iron and give you the treasures in the Kingdom of God.
