Believe He exists

And without faith it is impossible to please God, because anyone who comes to him must believe that he exists and that he rewards those who earnestly seek him.

Hebrews 11:6

We pray many times asking for our needs to be met, but only to see nothing happens. And because of that we tend to give up prayer. Are you in that situation today?
Today's verse teaches us something very important about prayer.
It teaches us about two conditions in prayer.
The first and foremost condition in prayer is, we must believe that the God whom we pray to, our Father in Heaven exists. He was and He is and He is to come. He is the alpha and omega, He knows all things, He is all powerful and He is present everywhere. We should be going to prayer every time with this important truth about God in our mind.
The second condition in prayer is we should be earnestly praying. Not praying for the sake of it and then do our own thing. The word earnestly means, to seek out with all our heart, trusting completely on Him and not planning anything on our own. Earnestly means seriously, as though our very life is dependent on Him. Earnestly means seeking Him without wavering, that is not thinking it may or may not be answered, so look for alternatives.
Is your prayer that you pray for your needs and situations meets these two conditions?
If so, then the verse we read today says that God will surely reward you more than you think or imagine. Your prayers are surely answered.
Cultivate this habit of prayer, believe He exist and earnestly every day seek Him with all your heart. Your redemption is near.
